The main aims of the Youth Council;  To ensure active participation of young people in decision making at Local and national democratization process.  Take an active role in resolving the issues related to youth and city.  To represent city youth national, international and relevant organizations city level.  Within the framework of national and international conventions protect the rights of youth and develop local and national level.  Develop a sense of urban identity and belonging of young people,

 CLEARNESS  REPRESENTATİON  EQUALİTY İN GENDER  VOLUNTARINESS  SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY  GOVERNANCE  ACTIVE PARTICIPATION

  Youth assembly notifies all events to members.

 Youth assembly represents in decision-making mechanisms to city youths.

 In Youth Assembly’s working the women - gender equality is essential.

 Youth Assembly is based on volunteerism in all of the work.  Can not enter into any profit-making operation.

 Youth assembly allows the development of feelings of social responsibility.

 Youth assembly contributes the creation of public opinion to make decisions and applying the city.

 Youth assembly performs all work within the principles of tolerance and respect for different ideas.

 Universities Student Council Representatives,  University Student Community / Club Representatives,  High School Student Representatives,  Non-governmental organizations who work with youth representatives,  Youth representatives from the chambers,  The City Council's Youth Council Working Group representatives (Individual participants takes place within working group),  Youth representatives from Public Institutions(Youth Centres, Vocational Training Centres and Community Training Centres),  The neighborhood youth representatives(Determined with the approval of the mayor)  The political party representatives of the Youth Wing(Party which have group in municiplity)

 About Project; Project of “Local Youth Policies”aim is to provide the Youth Assemblies taking part in the development period of city politicies meeting, where the local decision makers and the shareholders are coming together. The general aim is to provide the youth to participate the process of local politics making.

 Aim of this project is; Prepare to univercity exams to high school students whose financial situation is weak and already graduated from high school.  Their teachers are volunteer and univercity students.

 One language One Culture project is an educational culturel and exchange project.  15 volunteer foreigner who are from 15 different country came Turkey and they taught English to Turkish youth. Lessons was established on speaking not gramer. And in the classes there are translators.

 Our goals in this process; First goal is, changing 58.substance which is only substance in constitution about youths. Second goal is, making the constitution which has a youth policies. At last we will send our outputs to the Turkish Assembly’s Constitution Commission.
