Do you know how to do these things? Making a website or a wiki page The right way to social network Setting up a speaker system Using video and audio recording equipment Integrating technology resources and equipment into lessons Creating performance CDs Using composition software and midi equipment
What to think about when you integrate. Write out your lesson the way you normally would. Question “How could I use technology in this lesson to enhance it and make it an even better experience for my students?” What equipment do you need? And do you need to loan it out? How are you going to have students use it and how are you going to teach them how to use it? What product will the students have as a result of using this technology? How are you going to use it to help students come to a final conclusion in the lesson? Are you going to assess them based on this product?

For Next Time Take one of the Smartboard resources. It can be on one of the websites or you can create it yourself. Write a short activity using that tool. How would you integrate this activity? Why are students doing it? What is your over concept you are trying to teach? Does it make your lesson easier for you? Does it get your point across to the students? Are your students going to be engaged in the activity?
Remember: Think about the concept first Develop your objectives Now find the tool you need to accomplish your objectives Make sure you have the right tools to do your activity Have a Plan B just incase your technology fails!
