Blogger What is it? - A blog-publishing service that allows private or multi-user blogs with time- stamped entries. Blogs are like personal journals posted on the web for other "bloggers" to view. How much does it cost? -Free -Just need to create an account

Blogger Example: There are many different blogging sites, with "blogger" being one of them. In your "blogger" account, you can create or own blog and even search and view other's personal blogs. Here is a blog that someone posted, titled, "Tips for New Bloggers." new-bloggers.html

Podcast/Vodcast What is it? - A type of digital media consisting of an episodic series of files (audio or visual) subcribed to and downloaded through web syndication. How much does it cost? - Podcasting is inexpensive as it only requires a microphone which can be purchased for less than $10. - A video podcast, or vodcast, would require the use of a digital video recorder which can be purchased for less than $ Audacity is an open-source software for podcasting that is a free download from - Video editing software is required for vodcasts available free from Windows Movie Maker for PCs or iMovie for Apple computers.

Podcast/Vodcast Example: Live stream of a classroom session. Can allow students who missed class to catch up, and even allow students to review what was covered in class.
