London is the capital of Britain. About eight million people live there

There is a big river in London – the Themes. There are a lot of bridges over the river.

Tower Bridge is the most famous. It is more than 100 years old.

From Tower Bridge you can see the Tower of London. It is a museum now. There are hundreds of interesting collections in it.

There is a famous clock in London called Big Ben.

Westminster Abbey is one of the oldest royal churches.

St. Paul’s Cathedral is the most wonderful classical church in Britain.

In Regent’s park there is the Zoo. It is one of the biggest and most famous zoos in the world.

Big red buses run up and down the streets. The oldest metro in the world, called Tube is here in London, too

There is Trafalgar Square in the centre of London. There is a monument to Admiral Nelson which is called the Nelson Column.

This is the National Gallery. It has got a fine collection of paintings.

There is a Piccadilly Circus. It is a meeting place of six streets.

Buckingham Palace is the home place of the Queen.

Look, the Guard is changing! They do it every day at 11 o’clock in the morning.

London Eye is a 135-metre tall observation wheel situated on the banks of the River Thames.
