Visit to the British Parliament, 2 March 2011

On 2 March the Comenius Voice Group visited Parliament in Westminster, London.

Partners travelled from Liverpool Lime Street to London Euston.

Many exchange students experienced the Tube for the first time...

Day begins...

09.00hrs Arrival in Westminster...

Westminster Hall...

We were met by Esther McVey, Member of Parliament (Wirral West, Con)

We had a tour of Parliament...

And a visit to the House of Commons...

And the House of Lords...

and spent a few minutes spotting famous faces in the lobby...

And had a unique opportunity to view Prime Minister’s Questions in a committee room...

And a tour of London...

...A spot of Shopping...

And the headed back to Upton...

Where the next day....

After a little rest...

We continued with our planning...
