How to use VOTalk PURPOSE - communication between staff members, instant messaging, internal chat, alerts and emergency information delivery. PREREQUISITES - A front Desk operator will use Front Desk layout; A Practitioner will use Practitioner or Practitioner rapid layout.
1. Push client to Client Director 2. Open Communication tab 3. Click on Activate VOTalk
VOTalk view will pop-up Client’s name inserted into message (You do not have to have a client name) To send the same message to all personnel of a type e.g all CAs or all Practitioners, Click on None and select the Personnel Type you require
VOTalk view will pop-up Client’s name inserted into message Click on … and start typing last name of person you intend to contact OR select from the drop down list. Refer next slide. When None is visible
Type the first letter of the surname on your keyboard to bring list of personnel into drop down window Select message recipient by clicking the box
Type your message in the note area Send message by clicking on send icon Or you can select from saved simple messages
If the recipient is logged on, an alert message appears on recipient’s screen for 5 sec When the recipient logs on, the VOTalk window pops-up on recipient’s screen and stays until the message is checked as read
