Specifications and Options The system can be entirely installed on a local computer and directed to backup the database to a server. The system can be installed on local computers that are directed through Windows ODBC to a database on a local or remote server. The entire system can be installed on a single or multiple application servers and the entire program can be run at branch locations through terminal services or via services such as Citrix. The database used for the system can be as simple as an Access database for small users or Microsoft SQL for larger environments. If you opt for the Access database environment you will not have to have Access on the computer that is running the database. However, if you are running a Microsoft SQL database, we recommend the full version of SQL server. The processing documents can be MICR encoded through the use of MICR toner cartridges or you can preprint the MICR on outbound items and rely on the optically read characters. The system runs under all operating environments from Windows 98 through Windows XP with the exception of Windows ME. It is time to make some decisions

They were unable to find something to do what they needed. So the President of the bank created a DOS based application to accomplish what he need. When the bank was sold, he decided to rewrite the application and build a company around it. In 1994 Efficiency Tools was founded and began selling a DOS based program that tracked Cash, Non-Cash and Incoming collection items. Since then the application has grown through the early Windows environment to what you see today. In 1996 one of our client banks asked if we could add the capacity to track floor plans. With them servings as our Beta site we added Floor Plans to the system. The capacity to print Temporary Checks and Loan Payment coupons along with Cashier’s Checks was added around Then in just the last eighteen months we have added two modules partially driven by regulatory change (EFT Disputes and Wire Transfers). The software has been installed in nearly 200 locations and is currently used by banks housed in one location and banks with over 100 branches. Many of our clients have been purchased by the likes of Compass and other large banks. However we still serve over 60 installations with a combined total of over 200 branches.
