Public Relations ▫Importance of Medical Community friends  Have relationships with key individuals in medical community: medical board, medical society, legislators, hospitals, referral sources, training programs, etc.  Nurture!  Use others in your program for help: perfect role for your BOD! ▫Awareness of key legislative matters and current medical community issues

Public Relations Continued… ▫Advisory Committees  Connection to community referrals  Connection to medical community area of interest  Clarify role ▫Fundraising  Way to connect to medical community  Use of BOD  Know limits/expectations – be clear about this with BOD
