 DEFINITION

The three main functions of the proxy server are :

Connection Sharing Acting as a gateway into the boundary between the local network and the outside network. Filtering Work on the application screen that serves as a packet filtering firewall is used to protect the local network against interference or attacks from external networks. Can be configured to reject certain websites at certain times.
