Topics  Staff Welfare Committee, what for ?  Acting on what agenda ?  Also providing support

Serve as SUC liaison with ILO Administration on matters related to the welfare and well being of staff For example: With INTER on matters related to the ILO physical plant. With HRD on issues such as staff development, security and overcoming adminstrative hurdles that impact staff

Serve on joint SUC and Administration Staff Welfare Committee Issues addressed include: Consider appeals for financial assistance (Norma Wagstaff Fund) for staff experiencing financial difficulties Discuss issues raised by staff concerning general welfare and mediate those concerns with responsible ILO units

Support to the ILO’s Sports and Leisure Association The S&L serves as the locus for: Approximately 30 S & L Sections including the fitness center (new), table tennis, volleyball, photo, karate, bridge and dance Organization of staff leisure activities such as the children’s Christmas party
