Praise You In This Storm

I was sure by now God, You would have reached down and wiped our tears away, stepped in and saved the day.

But once again, I say "Amen“! And it's still raining.

As the thunder rolls I barely hear Your whisper through the rain, “I'm with you”.

And as Your mercy falls I raise my hands and praise the God who gives and takes away.

And I'll praise You in this storm, and I will lift my hands for You are who You are no matter where I am.

And every tear I've cried You hold in Your hand. You never left my side. And though my heart is torn, I will praise You in this storm.

I remember when I stumbled in the wind; You heard my cry to You, and you raised me up again.

My strength is almost gone. How can I carry on if I can't find You?

Matthew 25: 31-46 The Sheep and the Goats 31“When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. 32All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left. 34“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
