Preparation for High School ► Career Exploration Lessons using CIS   Login: 2016lastname.firstname  Password: student ID number ► Individualized Graduation Plan (IGP)  Materials go home this week  Complete graduation plan online at it is located under the COUNSELOR tab  completed plan to appropriate counselor A – K L – Z ► Register for 9 th grade classes in February

CIS – Career Information Systems ► Interest Inventory  Matched student interests with career categories ► Exploration  Encouraged students to explore occupational areas that were interesting to them ► Use From Home  Expand knowledge of occupations  Utilize for planning  College and specialized training search  Resume assistance

Graduation Requirements ► Students must accumulate 48 credits  Requirements can be found online under the counselors tab in “files” ► Maintain a 2.0 “C” average in all core credits  29 core requirements (listed online)

Individualized Graduation Plan ► Access the blank template from  Click on Counselors tab on the left side  Click on Graduation Plan  Save it to your computer ► Complete the plan using the resources sent home ► Save the plan and it to your counselor by Feb. 3 rd

Dates to Remember ► January 27 th  Timberline Open House 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. ► January 28 th  Professional Technical Center Open House 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. ► February 13 th  Register during the school day for 9 th grade.
