Preparation for Committee Meeting Prepare Expanded Resume/Curriculum Vitae Write Personal Statement  Seek assistance from Writing Center  Resources are available in HPSC Library and online  Set up Interfolio account Interfolio.com Gather five letters of Reference

Preparation for Committee Meeting (cont.) Letters of Reference  3 from science/math instructors  1 from a professional you shadowed  1 other Ask letter writers to submit letters on institutional or office letterhead Letters will be kept on “the cloud”  They can be mailed, ed or uploaded directly by letter writer to Interfolio

Committee Process (cont.) The Committee will review letters from Interfolio. Please grant HPSC access.

Medical College Admission Test Dental Aptitude Test Deadlines for taking the test: MCAT – June 21 DAT – July 1 Please release your scores to HPSC

Requesting a Committee Interview We must have the following in hand prior to your interview being scheduled  5 Letters of reference  MCAT/DAT scores  Minimum cumulative and BCPM GPA calculations  Personal Statement  Expanded Resume/Curriculum Vita

Committee Interview We will schedule according to Committee members’ schedules Plan to adjust your schedule accordingly Unless there are extraordinary circumstances, all interviews will be held in Pullman. Dress as you will for your real interviews.

Secondary Applications Complete all secondary applications in a timely manner (2 weeks) Tell us about all secondaries you have completed and returned. Make sure your application is complete at each school. Address any missing items in your portfolio within three days of notice.

Interview Preparation Mock Interview Availability  Center for Advising and Career Development  Small Group Interviews at HPSC  Individual interviews through HPSC may be available as faculty are available to assist Review Interview Impressions for the schools at which you’re going to interview
