To see your counselor follow the procedures below In any emergency (i.e. you or someone you know is going to harm themselves,) tell your teacher you need to see your counselor immediately. If your situation is not an emergency, you may try and see your counselor or the STAN counselor before school, after school, during lunch, or by appointment. You may fill out a yellow “call slip” in the front of the counseling office and your counselor will call you down as soon as possible.

Promotion Policy 11 th Grade Students must have 12.0 total credits to be promoted 12 th Grade Students must have 19.0 total credits or have all necessary courses needed for graduation on their schedule

RANK IN CLASS Required graduation courses, up to a maximum of 26 credits, taken in grades 9 to 12 through the end of the 7 th semester will be used to calculate class rank. Elective courses that produce the highest weighted grade will be used to calculate rank. Class rank will be based upon a weighted grade average

Weighted Grade Averages WGA are determined by multiplying each semester grade of a ranked course by a rank factor and computing an average. Course Level AP, GT/AP, and Dual Credit AP – 1.29 Pre AP, Honors, Dual Credit non-AP – 1.15 Regular -1.0 The WGA determines rank in class.

HONOR GRADUATES Students achieving high standards of academic excellence shall be recognized at the graduation ceremony as honor graduates based on the following criteria: Completion of the RHSP or the DAP Everything completed through the end of the 1 st semester of your senior year. Overall Weighted grade average of a 90 or above
