Standards Based Portfolios As part of your education program at Villanova, you will create an electronic portfolio which demonstrates your achievement and growth in each of the 10 core INTASC principles. Barrett “an educational portfolio contains work that a learner has selected and collected to show growth and change over time; a critical component of an educational portfolio is the learners reflection on the individual pieces of work as well as an overall reflection on the story that the portfolio should tell”. TaskStream Portfolio Types Directed Response Folio (DRF) – primarily used for assessment/requirements or certification. Creating Your TaskStream Account Go to: Click ‘Subscribe Today’
Activate Your Subscription Click the radio button to ‘Create’. Enter the Student Key Code: GTTXHE- RSWYK7
Join Your Group Click the drop-down menus to select your College, Department, and Group.
Enter Personal Information Please be sure to note your User ID and password. For consistency, it would be a good idea to make this your Villanova User ID & password. Step 4: Confirm registration info and continue.
Let’s Build Our Portfolios! After signing into TaskStream, locate & click on the ‘Web Folio Builder’ link under Web Publications.
Add Title & Creation In the ‘Presentation Portfolio’ section, add a title and then click ‘Create It’
Select Template Click the radio button to select ‘Showcase Portfolio’.
Select Style
Editing Content Click on the ‘Basic Tool Pack – Showcase Portfolio – MT’ to begin. Next, click ‘Edit’.
Add/Edit Web page Content Add your own Introductory text here then click ‘Save’. Rename title.
Add/Edit Web page Content (Continued) Add your photo.

Add/Edit Web page Content (Continued) Click on Resume from the Edit Structure pane.
Preview Your Webfolio Click on the ‘Preview’ button to view your page.
