4 Internship Program Overview  Intel to host students/researchers from the its campus in Portland, Oregon USA for 1 full year, and visiting professors for up to 3 months  Students/Professors get access to needed facilities, training and integrate into Intel R&D programs (with regular Intel employees) under MER program guidelines  Intel to sponsor required VISA  Internships expected to start July 2011  Program started in 2009 and has been running successful for 2 consecutive years.  Participants reached 25 students and 7 visiting Professors from 4 countries  Current participants are delivering excellent results!

5 General Program Guidelines  Research Work: –Research topics are governed by the terms and conditions articulated in the agreement between Intel & participating University. –Open collaborative research only. Results are subject to open domain publication. No IP filing. –Abide by the Intel confidentiality agreements and guidelines  Life in the US: –Selected students will be given a salary as an Intel Intern. –They will be connected with services for options and assistance on airfare, housing, transportation etc. while traveling to & from the US. –Rich cultural experience component to the internship –Abide by all Federal/State laws and Intel Code of Conduct and employment guidelines

8 Qualification Guidelines  Students available from 7/2011 to 7/2012 and full time on the program  Graduate students who completed their course work by the start date and are affiliated with Intel partner Universities: –KACST – Saudi Arabia, AUB – Lebanon, NU – Egypt, METU – Turkey  Students from other universities must go through the research programs at the listed universities  GPA >= 3.6 or VG/Excellent grade with honors.  Priority for students who intend to continue research work at the above universities after internship is done  Pass technical/behavioral interview conducted by University & Intel technical committees  Pass general Intel employment, security and export control requirements in the US

9 Timelines  Send your resume to your local rep by March 12 th  Screening & Interviews March th  Final Selection by March 30 st – Students confirm by April 8 th  VISA process and travel logistics April - June 2011  Arrive to US first half of July 2011
