MAKE IT FUN It feels good to help others- people want to help you! People like to answer questions and give advice about their job, company or industry. By connecting with others, you’re sure to get some much needed encouragement and moral support.
MOST JOBS ARE NEVER ADVERTISED Many job seekers are hesitant to take advantage of networking because they’re afraid of being seen as pushy, annoying, or self- serving. Networking isn’t about using other people or aggressively promoting yourself—it’s about building relationships.
