What is dairy? Dairy products contain or are made from milk Some examples of dairy products are: –Milk and chocolate milk –Cheese –Yogurt –Ice cream Visit us at © 2014 Biometrics Health; All rights reserved.

Where does dairy come from? Dairy products come from milk that is produced by cows on dairy farms. Cows are milked each day and the milk is cooled and stored. Importance of Dairy Milk and dairy products contain calcium and vitamin D, which are needed to build strong bones and teeth –Calcium and vitamin D is extra important when you are younger because this is when your bones are growing the most Milk and dairy also contain protein, which provides energy and helps to build strong muscles Visit us at © 2014 Biometrics Health; All rights reserved.
