Our Strategic Plan for 2015 Our focus for 2015 is to bring you more value through the MLS. We will accomplish this through three major initiatives in 2015: 1.Improving the UtahRealEstate.com mobile app for Android and iOS so that it has more features, similar to the desktop site. 2.Increasing consumer web traffic to the public MLS site to provide more leads to agents. 3.Improve usability and reliability of the website (and the mobile app) for both REALTORS® and consumers.

MLS Dues Increase for 2015 To realize our 2015 strategic initiatives, we will be raising our membership dues by $5.00 per month starting January 12, In exchange, we will have the means to give you a better mobile app, more consumer leads, and a better MLS system. Policy Proposal – Short Sales Our current policy states that in order to mark the “Price previously approved by third party” field on short sale listings, you must have on file a letter from the lender approving the list price. Proposal: Should we mandate through policy that people must upload that letter to the listing via document links, in order to ensure that a letter has actually been obtained? Tech Tip: Correcting Your Listing’s Map We use Google to map listings in the MLS. Although it’s the most accurate map information available, sometimes Google displays it wrong. The good news is that you can correct your listing’s map! 1.Select “Residential Listings” under the listings tab 2.Check the listing you wish to edit 3.Click “edit listing” 4.Scroll down to the map section and move the pin to the correct location. (note: if the map is blank simply enter in a different zip code to move the pin) 5.Click publish and you’re good to go! Please check the map on your listings to verify they have been mapped correctly.
