ETCF is funded by the European Union Turkish Chamber’s Logo Project at a glance  European Management Training (EMANTRA)  Partners; Chambers of Commerce in Denizli (TR), Nazilli (TR),Manchester-Chamberlink (UK), Pécs- Baranya (HU) and Drama (GR) Chambers of Commerce and Industry  Duration ; 12 months  Budget; Euro

ETCF is funded by the European Union Turkish Chamber’s Logo Objectives  To strengthen and diversify the relationship between the European Community and Turkey by running a combination of training programmes for Internationalisation, Acquis Communautaire and internal capacity building for a number of Turkish Chambers, with the aim of integrating Turkey more into the European community.

ETCF is funded by the European Union Turkish Chamber’s Logo Activities So Far  Training Needs Analysis: Surveys implemented to staff and member companies of Denizli Chamber of Commerce (DTO) and Nazilli Chamber of Commerce (NTO).  EMANTRA project Inception Meeting: Meeting in Denizli was occurred with 4 participants from partner organizations for 2 days on 04 & 05 March of 2009.

ETCF is funded by the European Union Turkish Chamber’s Logo Activities So Far  International Marketing Strategy Training: 1 st training to DTO and NTO Chambers staff has been organized in Denizli with 21 participants for 2 days on March of  Company Analysis and Business Environment Training: 2 nd training to DTO and NTO Chambers staff has been done in Denizli with 17 participants for 2 days on April of 2009.

ETCF is funded by the European Union Turkish Chamber’s Logo Activities So Far  EU Funding and Member Services Training: 3 rd training to DTO and NTO Chambers staff has been done in Denizli with 16 participants for 1 and half day on May of  Midterm Partner’s Meeting: Midterm meeting has been occurred in Drama/ Greece with 8 participants from partner organizations for 1 day on 29 th may of 2009.

ETCF is funded by the European Union Turkish Chamber’s Logo Activities So Far  Export Logistics and International Payments Training: 4 th training to DTO and NTO Chambers’ staff has been done in Nazilli with 8 participants for 2 days on 10 and 12 June of Workshop for companies has been organized in Nazilli with 45 participants for 1 day on 11 th June of 2009.

ETCF is funded by the European Union Turkish Chamber’s Logo Results  During the trainings which is organized as part of the project, trainers from EU partners, Manchester Chamber of Commerce (UK), Pécs Baranya CCI (HU) and Drama CCI (GR) share their experiences and knowledge on EU and member services with staff of Turkish Chambers, DTO and NTO. By the way relationship between partners developed and exchange of knowledge and experience provided.

ETCF is funded by the European Union Turkish Chamber’s Logo Results  DTO and NTO will have the skills to assist the development of industry at regional and international level and there will be a clear improvement in the internal management and services provided to local Turkish companies and skill level of DTO and NTO. Over a longer term, there will be increase in awareness of European acquis communautaire among Turkish businesses and a closer integration of Turkish and European business communities.
