Business Description Run On will provide the service of trainers coaching those who want the best possible help for becoming an experienced runner. Whether it’s to become a pro distance runner or simply fitness training for a loved sport, our coaches will train our customers for as long as they need and they will hopefully teach excellent running habits along with how to keep in shape for the future. We will have about 10 to 15 coaches available for training sessions up to a maximum of 3 hours a day, and you can schedule your appointment online or at Run On headquarters, right here in Merrimack, New Hampshire. This business also runs year-round for all sports seasons.

Mission Statement Our goal is to give our customers/athletes the most professional experience while training with our coaches in a nonjudgmental environment, and to boost their athletic confidence in the sport, while sharing the passion and health benefits that can come from running, no matter what type of running it is.

Profile for Investors  I’m seeking a $70,000 loan for a 15% stake in the company.  This company offers a chance for investors to be a part of a service that no one else has yet created around here. There’s no business like this set up in Merrimack or any other nearby town. Since this is new, customers who are looking for what Run On provides will be curious about the business and want to join.  Half of the money gained from loan will be used to for maintaining the Run On headquarters in Merrimack. The other half will be used to pay for transporting coaches across the state and putting up ads around town.

Production of Service  We’ll start making the service by researching qualified coaches around the region who could possibly be interested in participating in this business. Then, those seem as though they would perform well as trainer. These people include high school coaches, college coaches, current trainers, etc.  Once I manage to gather up a minimum of at least 10 coaches, we can begin the business, and hopefully gain more trainers (employees) as the company progresses.  I’ll be in charge of signing up clients who want to start scheduling sessions with a coach on phone calls, s, and even right at Run On headquarters.

Distribution of Service  The private training from our coaches will be distributed, first of all, by setting up a schedule with one of our company’s coaches. I will select a coach who seems to be the best “match” with our costumer, then I’ll have them both meet and schedule a first session or two on the phone.  The coach will then travel to an already planned meeting area with the customer for a first session where the training can begin.

Distribution of Service  This company’s service is geared towards anyone who wants to run and learn running skills.  Coaches are necessary because they will give the customer accountable guides towards whatever goal they wish to achieve. They’ll give feedback and advice that the customer might not have for themselves. Finally, it gives our customers someone to confide in about their training over time.

Marketing Plan  For advertising, our company will put up flyers and posters around local towns and cities such as Merrimack, Bedford, Nashua, and Manchester to help get our business noticed.  Run On will also attend upcoming fitness tradeshows and expos around New Hampshire, talking about what our service is and where it’s provided.  We are currently advertising on social media as well, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages.

Marketing Plan  A portion of the money received from private loans and investors, along with using personal credit cards, will be spent on all local and online ads.  The only competition this company has is Coach Up, which is a nationwide online browser for professional coaches that will train athletes who want extra motivation with whatever sport they practice; not just running. The website will find trainers close to where the athlete lives to make for easier sessions. Coach Up does also have several buildings, one being in Boston, MA.

Connection to Global Economy Run On is a privately held company that isn’t planning to expand out of New Hampshire in the future. Coaches may travel out of state to meet with some nearby clients or athletes in certain scenarios, but never out of the country or across the globe.
