+ H.P.E courses for year 11? VET Certificate Courses  Certificate II Sport and Rec. – Coaching  Certificate II Sport and Rec. – Outdoor Recreation. General Courses  Physical Education Studies  Health Education Studies Pathways: TAFE, traineeships, apprenticeships and employment pathway.

+ Organisation of Courses Each General course has 4 units.  Units 1 and 2 are taken in Year 11.  Units 3 and 4 are taken in Year 12. Certificate Courses Certificate I completed during Year 11 Certificate II completed during Year 12

+ Year 11 General Courses Courses in Health and Physical Education focus on the development of knowledge, understanding and skills which support students to be resilient and take actions to promote their health and physical activity participation.

+ Yr 11 Physical Education Studies Physical Education Studies The Physical Education courses promote the physical, social and emotional growth of students. The General course emphasises understanding and improving performance in physical activities. This course would be particularly useful for students who see their future in occupations that deal with the body and sport. Is a Certificate VET (Vocational Education Training) course, which on success, provides students with a Nationally Recognised Certification. Consists of 3 practical sessions per week and 1 theoretical session Focuses on instilling the basic industry standards required to participate, work, and prepare for further education within the Sport and Recreation industry.

+ Year 11 Outdoor Recreation Outdoor Recreation is experiential learning in, for, or about the outdoors. Broadly, Outdoor Recreation refers to a range of organized activities that take place in a variety of ways predominantly, but not exclusively in outdoor environments. Outdoor Recreation is a Certificate VET (Vocational Education Training) course, which on success, provides students with a Nationally Recognised Certification. Outdoor Recreation is coupled with both the practical outdoor adventure type education (doing), as well as theoretical training components (learning and planning). Outdoor Recreation focuses on instilling the basic industry standards required to participate, work, and prepare for further education within the Outdoor Recreation industry.
