All Quiet On The Western Front Ashley Longstreth, Caroline Miller, Seth Groover, Vince Knapp

Chapter One

When Paul and his friends started in the war there were 150 men. By the time they were done with the front, there were 80

Chapter Two

Their friend Kemmerich was wounded while they were in the frontline. He was injured and they had to amputate his leg.

Chapter Three

They went to the hospital to see Kemmerich. He was on the verge of dying. Paul tried calling the doctor but he couldn’t help. Kemmerich finally died. Paul took his boots.

Paul and Kropp got a new job. Their new job was to lay barbed wire. So on Sunday they went to lay barbed wire.

Chapter fOUR

Kat predicted there was going to be a bombardment. He was right. One of the men was injured they decided to end his life so he wouldn’t go through any pain.

Chapter Nine

Paul, Kat, Muller, Tjaden, and Kropp were happy to hear that the Kaiser was coming. Yet they were disappointed to see he wasn’t that great of a man.

Paul finds himself being bombarded by bombs and must hid in a shell hole. He kills a French man who comes in with him. This was the first time he had killed a man with hand to hand combat.

Chapter Ten

Paul and Kropp are hurt and Kropp resists suicide because Paul keeps him company in the hospital.

Chapter Eleven

Paul carries Kat, his only friend left in the arm Paul carries Kat, his only friend left in the army, back to the station and finds that he is fatally wounded in the head.

Chapter Twelve

Paul finally dies during the war due to gas inhalation. His last words were “All quiet on the western front.”
