What we learned was that the meteor crater is located in West of Winslow,Arizona and that it was discovered in 1891 and it’s 5,000 to 50,000 years old,and that nickel-iron pieces were found up to 640 kg in size.

Great Barrier Reef 1.It is located along the North East coast of Australia. 2.It is 2000 km long. 3.It is 160 km from shore. 4.The name of the ship is Endeavor. o He ran ground on June 11,1770. o It took them one day to free the ship. o They unloaded their heavy items. 5.What we learned was that Captain Cook stayed on the island for a long period of time.

Grand Canyon 1.It is South West of Colorado Plateau in the USA. 2.Its greatest depth is 1800 m below its rim. 3.It’s red but there’s a hint of brown in the center and other colors like gray, green, pink, and violet. 4.You’d have to go down 600 times. 5.What we learned was that the grand canyon is big and that it’s red and there’s tree’s and that it is higher at the south rim.

Victoria Falls 1.It is located in Zambezi river,boarding Zambia and Zimbabwe. 2. In Africa it is called “The Smoke that Thunders”. 3. The maximum flow of water is 546 million cubic meters per minute x 5 = 2730 cubic meters of water falls into the gorge. 5.What we learned was that the Victoria Falls had a Kololo tribe living there in the 1800’s. They found that it was one of the greatest known “curtains of falling water”. It’s nearly two kilometers into a deep gorge over one hundred meters below.
