Revelation Chapter Revelation Chapters 11 – 13 mentions 3 and a half years 5 times. This comes out to 17 and half years. 17 and half years has to fit within 7 years, 3 and half years of peace and 3 and half years of tribulation Either the Prophecy of 490 years is not valid or The Seven Year Tribulation is not valid.

Different Views Pre-trib Post Trib Preterist

Med-Tribulation The mid-tribulation rapture proponent believes that the rapture will occur prior to the "great tribulation" which is the last three and a half years of the seven year tribulation period. This places three and a half years between the rapture of the church and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

Preterist They believe God is done with Israel They believe that the end times started with the beginning of Jesus Ministry. The Roman-Jewish wars that started with the daily sacrifice abolished in 66 AD. was the start of the Great Tribulation.

Preterist The Great Tribulation ended at 70 AD with the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple. We have been in the 1000 year reign for the last 2000 years Jeremiah 31:

Jeremiah 35 Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name: 36 If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever. 37 Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD.

Post-Tribulation Post-tribulation doctrine is the belief of a rapture of all believers following the Great Tribulation Matthew 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

Post-Tribulation 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other
