WHY JOHANNES GUTENBERG SHOULD BE THE RENAISSANCE MAN I think Johannes Gutenberg should be the renaissance man because he was a great inventor. He was the inventor of the printing press. Officials believe that his invention was one of the greatest inventions to this day because it provided printed books. It helped in religious matters a lot. We would not have any of the religious bibles and religious books without the printing press. Every one who loves books just imagine if you didn't’t have any books that you could enjoy. That is why Johannes Gutenberg should be the reissuance man

 Martin Luther became one of the most infuential figuers Christian history when he began the Protestant Reformation in the 16 th centry!

Famous things he did His works include the David and Pieta statues and the ceiling paintings of Rome's Sistine Chapel. Michelangelo is widely regarded as the most famous artist of the Italian Renaissance. And he made a lot of people look up to him.

Christopher had a spice trade with Asia He discovered water routes which lead to the colonization of America First European explorer to begin exploration and colonization He was gave 3 ships the Nina, Pinta, and the Santa Maria He wondered how far away china and japan were from each other He had also found America, well that’s what some people say but he But he found Indians, so instead of calling it America he called it indies. That’s the reason I would like to convince you to have Columbus as the renaissance man

 Everyone sees what you appear to be, few experience what you really are. This is a quote by Machiavelli. Its in the historical book, The Prince (1513). Machiavelli isn’t remembered for paintings or speeches he’s remembered for being a writer and he had the greatest influence in history.  Machiavelli made such a reputation for himself that his name is still used today as an adjective, Machiavellian meaning cunning.

GALILEO GALILEI IS THE RENAISSANCE MAN. Have you ever wondered what’s really out there? How many times have you looked at the moon or the stars? Galileo Galilei was the first to take a closer look. In 1609, he heard of a telescope built by a Dutch eyeglass maker and soon built his own which was 32 times more powerful and started studying astronomy. He discovered many things including that Jupiter has 4 moons, what are now referred to the Galilean moons. People today still use his amazing ideas and without Galileo, things wouldn’t be as simple! He made his observations and published his results in his book Siderius Nuncius which means (the starry messenger). Just think about how things would be without this guy! People wouldn’t understand astronomy as well. He did so much more too! Be happy that we have a guy like him and MAKE SURE TO VOTE FOR GALILEO!!!!

Desiderius Erasmus was the most famous Renaissance man of the 16 th century. He was excellent with both Latin and Greek and translated text of the New Testament. In 1509 he wrote The Praise of Folly, which is his best known work. These writings showed an acceptance of Christian Ideals of the 16 th century. He helped the common man understand the teachings of the Bible. During his lifetime he wrote many books and was respected by powerful rulers.

All the people think he was the best king ever. He had a lot a lot of wives 6 wives. He was the nice guy how treat people nice. He had a lot of people how look up to him. He invented Church of England. He was cool. That way he sound be the Renaissance man.
