Lalonde Centre - District 2 n Police, Fire, EMS, Emergency Operations Centre. Operational in Spring of 2007 n Storefront Officers will deploy from LEL n 14 additional officers for Greater Sudbury possible through the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services Safer Communities - 1,000 Officers Partnerships Program

Our Community ~ Our Commitment Notre communauté ~ Notre engagement Community Safety Forum SERVICE DELIVERY MODEL District 2 n No Reduction In Service Storefront offices will remain open and officers will continue to utilize them Officers will: Remain in their zone for their tour of duty Respond to Uniform calls for service and related assignments in their zone Work when required in storefront Number of Uniform patrol officers assigned to the zones will remain the same Volunteers will continue to work at the Storefronts

Our Community ~ Our Commitment Notre communauté ~ Notre engagement Community Safety Forum TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT UNIT n Rural Squad will work in conjunction with the Traffic Unit to increase visibility and enforcement in the outlying areas through the use of specialized equipment Increased trail patrols with snowmobiles and ATV’s complaints Enhanced Marine Unit means more coverage on area lakes and waterways Traffic complaints in the zones will be responded to in a more timely fashion Traffic enforcement will be enhanced

Enhanced volunteer opportunities for citizens residing in all outlying areas n Volunteers will continue to work at Storefronts n Storefront locations may receive infrastructure improvements
