Recent Development in Post Secondary and Tertiary Education Sector Capacity in polytechnics to be increased by 20% (2015) Government to provide publicly-funded university education for 30% of each cohort by 2015 (from 25%) Publicly-funded diploma and degree programmes at LASALLE College of Arts and NAFA Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) Launch of Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) Degree programmes with reputed overseas universities for polytechnic graduates 17 courses from 7 universities: U of Nevada, U of Manchester, U of Glasgow, Technical U of Munich, DigiPen Inst of Tech
