YSES Knoydart 2011
me Fiona Dalton Leader – YSES Knoydart 11
Why come on a Yorkshire Schools Exploring Society Expedition?
I asked some previous expeditioners this question…
“My YSES expedition is one of, if not THE, best things I have ever undertaken in my life. I was challenged to question my perspectives on many aspects of life. Because of this I truly think the expedition has made me a stronger person in every sense of the word. Above all I have made a set of friendships that will hopefully last a lifetime” - Lizzie
“I loved camping and ….. sitting around the campfire every night singing random songs and telling stories was amazing – like something out of a movie. Overall it was such a brilliant experience, one I’ll never regret taking part in and taught me so much about myself and getting on with others and working in a team. It helped me get a place at uni so it looks really great on your CV, and i loved every minute of it, even the ones spent soaking wet in the good 'ol British rain! I’d go back tomorrow if i could” - Katy
