Global Trade Committee WITSA Trade Mission to Mumbai, India David Wong, PIKOM
The WTM is intended for those business executives interested in business opportunities within India and the Asia Pacific economies. The trade mission will include summit sessions, networking receptions and business-to-business meetings. Participation fee is at Rs.30,000 (approx. USD550), a 12% discount from Rs. 34,000 (approx. USD615) for WITSA members. Accommodations have been arranged for WITSA members at the Grand Hyatt Mumbai and the Lalit Hotel Mumbai. WITSA HAS NO LONG TERM DEBT P&L 2012: Net Loss of $(224,698). Exceeded budgeted amount of ($79,452) by $(145,247). Includes 400 K Bad Debt. 2012 revenue was $761,630 and exceeded the budgeted amount of $450,400 by $311,230. This was because we invoiced the remaining WCIT 2012 fee during the current year (2012). Budgeted Expenses: Expenses were under budget in the following areas: Operations, contract services and bank charges. Expenses were over budget in: Travel and staff bonuses (not budgeted 2012). Open issue: The 2012 financial picture is very different from anticipated results due to the issues surrounding the WCIT WITSA did not receive the revenue it was entitled to and incurred additional costs for the gala event.
