IT Showcase Theme In addition to the normal prizes that are provided to the top projects in ALL IT related area, this year, IT Showcase is including an additional prize, which will be awarded to a qualified project that reflects the theme of “Technology for Education”. وإضافة إلى الجوائز المعتادة التي يتم توزيعها على الفائزين في عرض المشاريع كل عام ، ستكون هناك جائزة خاصة لتكريم المشروع المؤهل الذي يعبر عن موضوع الماراثون هذا العام " التكنولوجيا والتعليم "

IT Showcase Rules Entrants must be High School or elementary students يحق لطلاب المراحل الاعدادية و الثانوية المشاركة في المشاريع Open to teams (max.3 persons) or individuals يحق للمدرسة المشاركة بفريق واحد مكون من 3 طلاب على الاكثر Entrants must produce a poster for display throughout the Marathon يجب تقديم ملصق عن المشروع في يوم الماراثون Entrants must present their project to judges in sessions ستقوم الفرق بعرض مشاريعها امام لجان التحكيم Selected finalists must publicly present their project in final round المشاريع المتأهلة ستقوم بعرض مشاريعها امام لجنة حكام نهائية Judges decisions are final

IT Contest (all ages)

Contest Problems The contest problems are divided into: Programming Website Development Knowledge of Computers Animation and Graphics Computer Security البرمجة تصميم المواقع معلومات عامة المخططات امن المعلومات

Event Structure Each team has exactly three students Two sessions (2 hours each) – Web design + Programming + graphics – General computer knowledge + Computer Security A lunch break separates the two sessions Can use any of the high level language such as Visual Basic, C++, C or Java*. No external material is allowed (books, manuals, etc.) * Please see the website for updated list of software كل فريق مكون من 3 طلاب المسابقة من مرحلتين ( ساعتين لكل مرحلة ) –تصميم, برمجة, مخططات –معلومات عامة في الحاسوب و امن المعلومات يفصل الغداء المرحلتين سيتم تزويد الفرق بكمبيوتر مجهز بلغات : C/C++,Java, Visual Basic لا يسمح بادخال الكتب او اي مصادر معلومات اخرى

IT 4 Special Needs grade 1-6 and grade 5-12

IT 4 Special Needs IT 4 Special Needs Kids (grade 1-6) – An opportunity to allow kids with disabilities to present their projects developed using the scratch tool. IT Showcase 4 Special Needs (grade 5-12) – Aims at giving the opportunity to the students to show and present their IT projects. – An IT project can be a software or hardware product developed with any tool.

Awards The top three team winners of each competition will be announced and awards will be given in order to recognize them – Very Valuable prizes An additional prize to the best project related to the theme. All participants receive participation certificates as well as a participation certificate for the school itself

About Last Year IT Marathon More than 50 Schools More than 300 Students 10 teams participated in IT4Kids 30 teams participated in IT Showcase 36 teams participated in the IT Contest 6 special needs teams
