INJURY TREATMENT GANGRENE Definition: Gangrene is a condition that involves the death and decay of tissue, usually in the extremities. that most often affects people with diabetes.

Preparation Equipment - Set dressing bandage 2 anatomical tweezers / gloves tweezers cirurgis Scissors and shears straight up stitches 2 pieces steril basin - steril gauze & steril cotton in Tromol - Crooked - Cut the bandages and plasters - Korentang - rubber sheet - Alcohol 70% and wash stations

IMPLEMENTATION - Nurses wash their hands - Set the client's position as comfortable as possible - Open the old dressing: Install the rubber sheet under the wound Nearest crooked The tape moistened with alcohol / wash station and open the old bandage

- the dirty gauze are removed with tweezers and put into a crooked - Review the condition of the wound (redness, swelling, pain, approximation, discharge, and odor) - Clean the wound and surrounding area, wear gloves and clean the wound, from the inside to the outside, do a one-way Package opened seteril Dissolve or bethadine NaCl and poured into the complex

- Provide appropriate therapy to the wound the doctor orders - Closing the wound with gauze then taped or wrapped with a bandage right and neatly - Nurses wash their hands - Watch and record client's reaction after taking the action

EVALUATION - Note the client response and outcome measures
