Skywalker Product Network Business Plan

Mission Statement  Skywalker Product Network, is going to change the way people shop on the internet. We intend to do this by being able to create an enterprise that removes the “fear” most have from purchasing products on the internet.

Ownership  Partnership  Eric Galinsky  Jason Ingebretsen

Market Summary  There is a substantial market to be taped  Currently Annual Internet sales in U.S. are 100 billion.  Only 5% of retail sales in U.S. come from internet sales.  Over the next five years analysts suggest that internet sales could grow to billion over the next 5 years.

Financial Plan  Pricing  Our pricing will vary due to the discount prices that we will get from our Vendors.  We seek discounts from vendors because we feel that the customer is not going to want to pay an extra charge. So we will factor the discounted price into what we charge the customer. Example; If a product costs $ on a site, we contact the vendor and tell them we have a customer for them, but in order to make the deal go we need them to discount the price to us. They send us back a price of $ At the end of the process we charge the customer $ making us a profit of $50.00  Once we establish ourselves with companies our discounts will increase due to volume.

Opportunities  Problems and opportunities:  Most people do not want to take the chance of having their financial and personal information compromised.  Most companies will sell their clients information. Examples; phone number, address, and accounts.  We can provide a comfortable situation for customers that promotes Internet Buying.  We will never sell information of our clients.

Goals & Objectives  Five-year goals  We intend to open five more stores  See an average growth of 30% a year  Our store will become not only a store for people to safely purchase products, but also a place that gives a face to e-stores and can guarantee that the products exist.

Resource Requirements  Computers  We will start our venture out with 4 computers. Two of the computers will be in the store front for customers to search for the items that they want. The other two computer will be in the back office for Eric and Jason to use for purchasing the items.  Financial resource requirements  Account to accept credit cards  Create bank account to accept and make payments  External requirements  The seller is responsible for shipping the product to the customer.
