1 -- Setup cont. Start From Scratch – You have to setup drawing limits Unit measurement – units, dimensions, text, scale Templates – Pre-configured the way things are often done

2 – AutoCAD Window a-Screen sections pulldown menu bar – Every configuration and tool is found here. Command line – Every command has a shortcut text command if you know it Status bar – Tells the status of the Drawing Area – Snap,grid,model/paper, Line weights, location of cursor

Drawing Area ICON Toolbars Standard – Saving, copying, all windows options Properties – Tells about the object(s) selected Draw – Shows all the options of objects to draw Modify – Shows most the options of how to modify an existing object
