Cleaning Wipes Cleaning without harming

Everyday Preventitive Actions That Can Help Fight Germs,Like Flu Cleaning removes germs, dirt, and impurities from surfaces or objects. Cleaning works by using soap (or detergent) and water to physically remove germs from surfaces. This process does not necessarily kill germs, but by removing them, it lowers their numbers and the risk of spreading infection.

WASHINGTON — After more than 40 years of study, the U.S. government said Monday it has no evidence that the antibacterial chemicals used in countless common soaps and washes help prevent the spread of germs, and it is reviewing research suggesting they may pose health risks. Regulators at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration said they are revisiting the safety of chemicals such as triclosan in light of recent studies that suggest the substances can interfere with hormone levels and spur the growth of drug-resistant bacteria.

“I suspect there are a lot of consumers who assume that by using an antibacterial soap product they are protecting themselves from illness, protecting their families,” said Sandra Kweder, deputy director in the FDA’s drug centre. “But we don’t have any evidence that that is really the case over simple soap and water.”

Experts are concerned that routine use of antibacterial chemicals such as triclosan contributes to a surge in drug-resistant germs, or superbugs

Cleaning Without Harming Most disinfectants wipes have sufficient health risk that personal protective equipment and WHMIS training should be provided. PCS Cleaning Wipes not controlled (non hazardous) under WHMIS criteria. PCS Cleaning Wipes do not require the use of personal protective equipment. ie gloves goggles.

Cleaning Wipes PCS Cleaning Wipes can be used to keep frequently touched workspace surfaces clean without having to involve building cleaning staff. PCS Cleaning Wipes can be used by all building staff to keep their personal workspace surfaces clean without the need for either personal protective equipment or WHMIS training.
