Ms. Wade’s Class Room 25 Newsletter See what’s cooking this month! August 2013 Welcome!!! I am so glad to have your child in my class this year! I have been a teacher at East Broad for 8 years, and I know that this will be a great year. What we’re learning This month we will focus on the rituals and routines for a successful school year. Homework will be sent home on Mondays and due back on Fridays. The packet will also include a reading log. Reading- We will begin reading the book, Fudge- a-Mania Math- Numbers up to 100 Social Studies-Rules and Laws Science-Space In other news.. We will be working hard to make our recipe for success. Part of that recipe is discipline. There are two ways that we will be able to focus on our behavior. 1.Classdojo.com-Each student is given a character. Throughout the day, I can track their behavior online and at the end of the week, you will receive a report. 2. Brownie points-focuses on the entire class having great behavior. When they get 20 points, I will give them a brownie party. Questions/Concerns? Phone:
