A Blend of Many Cultures Brazilians culture includes: Brazils Official Language: Portuguese European, African, Asian, and Indian influence. Why are they a blend of cultures and not just Brazilian? Religions: Roman Catholic and Candromble, which is a mix of African and Catholic religious practices.

African’s created the national food, feijoada a bean stew, and also had an influence in the arts and music of Brazil.

A Diverse Population Europeans Asians Brazil was viewed as a place of wealth by Europeans. This made many Europeans want to move to invest in the coffee industry. Most people of European ancestry live in the Southern part of the country Many Japanese immigrants began coming over to Brazil to work on the coffee or tea farms. After World War II, more Japanese immigrants came over. Today, Brazil has the largest Japanese population other than Japan.
