Interesting demographic-Income Income Level About 99% of households with income levels above $75,000 have Internet access, compared to only 75% of households earning less than $30,000. However, those households with lower earnings are gaining Internet access at faster rates than households with incomes of $75,000 and above. Interesting demographic-Education Education Amount of education also makes a significant difference when it comes to online access. Of those individuals with less than a high school education, 61% were online in 2012, compared to 97% of individuals with a college degree or more. Even a high school education boosted Internet usage, with that segment reaching 80%. In general, educational disparities far exceed other disparities in Internet access and usage.
