School Improvement Plan resubmissions are due by 6/30/15 for review by their IU Executive (28 day public review required prior to submission). Communication was sent to IU Execs, IU CP/SIP contacts, and ARLs on 3/5/15 and 6/2/15. Charter Annual Reports for ALL charter schools is due on August 1, While the Charter Annual Report hasn't opened for submission yet, Charter Schools may utilize the offline guide for planning purposes until the online version becomes available. 4 CP Updates (cont.) PDE reviewer feedback in Comp Plan- contact information for each reviewer added to tool for questions about comments. Delinquent plan update (Phase 2 and 3) 11 Phase 2 LEAs (4 “In Revision”, 7 “In Planning”-never submitted) 39 Phase 3 LEAs (18 “In Revision”, 21 “In Planning”-never submitted) All outstanding Phase 2 plans “In Planning” or “In Revision” will be closed COB June 8.

Phase 1 Special Education Plans 13 districts “In Planning”- never submitted 6 districts “In Revision” 116 districts successfully submitted Redesign of 'Accomplishments, Concerns and Systemic Challenges' screen within the Needs Assessment section (District Level Comp Plans.) The redesign includes all 3 areas on one page to allow districts to analyze trends among individual schools.

Act 126 – Required Mandated Reporter Training – is now integrated in PD Plan (as of 6/3/15) Act 71- is now integrated in PD Plan (as of 6/3/15) Requirement begins 15/16 SY-- 4 hours of PD on youth suicide awareness & prevention every 5 years (Grades 6- 12) If an LEA incorporates a child exploitation awareness program into its curriculum, then 4 hours of PD on child exploitation awareness every 5 years (Grades K-8) is required. Begins 15/16 SY.
