Typical Day at Work told by Caty Agge  “A typical day begins by opening up the location we are working at. I work with one other person to do this. We must evaluate inventory in stock and determine what phones we need to sell that day and how we are going to market or “place” that phone. You can say we evaluate the 4 P’s: Product-what phone, Promotion-what specials we will offer, Price-items, Placement-how will I deliver this message to my clients or potential clients. It also takes a significant amount of having the ability to read people. We must see if that person is interested in price, what the device can do, or if they are aware of what they may need.”

Salary  This position receives 100% commission along with common monthly wages  Monthly wages range from $3,600 to $7,000 or more

Caty’s Future Plans  “In five years I hope to have moved on in my career. I would like a more direct position in marketing where I am able to aid the physical company in furthering its product or service. I also wish to have a salary position by that time.”

Caty’s Definition of Marketing  “Marketing is the development of a product or service by understanding all components of the product or service: who we want to sell that product or service to and what is needed to meet the goals of the company, also having an understanding of consumer behavior, sales relationships and the benefits of the significant development of those relationships. A repeat and consistent customer is the best customer.”
