Canadian Climate Web Quest

Climate or Weather? It’s important to understand the difference between “climate” and “weather”. Use the the links below to find definitions for both words. Then write the definition for climate on your flip book. Climate: Weather:

Canadian Climate The climate in Canada can change depending on where you are in the country. Use your book (pg ) to list the various types of climates that can be found in Canada.

Natural Resources What are natural resources? Use the dictionary site to find and record a definition for natural resources. Use the link below to find some natural resources that are abundant in Canada. You will need to pick some different provinces to click on. Once you have chosen a province, click on the “Resources and Industry” link on the left side.

Wildlife Animals live in the various Canadian climates. Check out the site below to find examples of animals found in Canada. Click on any of the provinces to find more information. On your flip book, record at least 4 animals and the places in Canada where they can be found. Also include a sketch of the animal or a map to show where it is located.
