Schedule Your schedule can be found at Lnu.se/Student once you are registered for a course and logged into mymoodle. You can also search for a schedule before you see it in my Mymoodle at – Lnu.se/student/mina-studier/schema and there is a link In the middle of the page called search for courses and programmes (allmänt schemasök) Pick a course in the drop-down menu and enter the course code in the search field, e.g. 1FE850 The schedule will be published approximately 4 weeks prior to the start of the course.

Programme syllabus and course syllabus The programme syllabus governs the programme’s objectives, structure, content and degree. The course syllabus governs the content, learning objectives, examination, literature etc. of the respective course. It always specifies what prerequisites must be met to be eligible to register for the course. Always read through the course syllabus in advance of each new course. You will find the programme’s courses and course codes at the programme’s page in Mymoodle.

New grading scale at School of Business and Economics autumn 2015 Your performance is measured in proportion to how well you have met the course’s objectives. All parts of the examination should be relatable to specific knowledge objectives for the course. Grade weighting: A-F grading scale Number scale for weighted average A9.0 B8.0 C7.0 D6.5 E6.0 A-F grading scale Mathematical grade thresholds A8.51–9.00 B7.51–8.50 C6.76–7.50 D6.26–6.75 E6.0–6.25 All of the course’s assessment tasks must be passed before the cumulative grade can be calculated. The programme administrator performs the mathematical calculation using set principles. The grade documentation is submitted to the examiner for a decision by signing the results list. Grades are weighted when the programme administrator translates all assessment tasks graded for a course into figures in accordance with the table on the right. Get involved in your studies via quality follow-ups and student influence Programme council and programme coordinator (2 student representatives appointed from each batch of students) Ongoing evaluation on course level and in programme council A course evaluation is always passed around at the end of each course - please take the time to fill out the course evaluations. Written classroom exam You are required to register for the exam by Tuesday the week before the exam week if it is a written exam. Subsequent registrations are not permitted. Valid ID must be presented at the classroom exam or else the student will not be permitted to take the exam. A student is entitled to be offered five chances to take an exam, after that the course is subject to change The grading scale for tasks is either U/G or A-F. The grade for the full course is A-F.

If you miss your exam Register for the retake exam If it takes you too long to submit a task for assessment, the course may change and you may have to retake whole the course CSN also has study performance requirements if you are taking student loans There are prerequisite requirements within the programme There is often a date scheduled for retaking exams in August Plan your studies – check the exam schedule
