Referee Team Responsibilities FIRST Referee team must pick up the “court bag” Keep score Call in or out Watch for touches Double Calls… Net violations Notify director over disputed calls Write in score and gather signatures/ names of participants LAST referee team must return the “court bag” All rights reserved Tidewater Volleyball Association 2015 ©

League Rules We follow USAV Sand Rules First match starts at 6:15 pm Teams that are late – After 10 minutes the first set is lost, after 15 total minutes the 2 nd set is lost – Failure to provide a referee will result in the forfeiture of all matches that night No deadline for alternates (additions can be made on site, via phone, or ) Inclement weather notifications will be posted at 5:00 PM on Facebook and sent out through text message Please pickup any bottles/trash you leave behind Side switches are done after every 7 points All rights reserved Tidewater Volleyball Association 2015 ©

Playoffs August 3 rd – 13 th Double Elimination First round, 2 nd round and Quarters done during two playoff weeks Semi’s and Finals saved for FINALS TOURNAMENT Individuals must play in at least four matches Cannot miss more than two weeks Skipping out on your officiating assignment = Loss of entire set during your next playoff match Playoff matches are best 2 out of 3 to 21, Third to 15 points if necessary All rights reserved Tidewater Volleyball Association 2015©

League Finals Tournament Semis and Finals for all leagues will be August 15 th (10am-6pm) Following Finals we will be having a League Finals Party at Calypso Everyone who participated in the league is welcome to attend Door prizes and a grand prize will be given out All rights reserved Tidewater Volleyball Association 2015 ©

Make Up Days Make up games will be made up on FRIDAYS starting week 2 Week eight matches will not be made up Most possible make up days is 7 total for ALL nights of league Missing a match on a make up day with 48 hour notice will not result in a penalty All rights reserved Tidewater Volleyball Association 2015 ©
