 Birth: 20 April 1889 Branau am Inn, Austria-Hungary  At a young age he became obsessed with German Nationalism  Hitler was an excellent student  He was the 4 th child  He dropped ou t of school to be an artist

 Adolf Hitler : 25 yrs. Old in 1913 he moved to Munich where he served in the Baravian Army  Awards: Iron Cross First Class for bravery and The Black Wound Badge  Hitler betrayed his army and went to Germany

 Germany took control over most of Europe  Czechoslovakia, Poland, Austria, and Rhineland

 Germany lost the war against Russia  About million people died  The Holocaust was over  Hitler hid in his bunker in Berlin with his wife Eva Braun and committed suicide on April 30, 1945
