Technology – Event Recorder  Records only those events in which pre-set g-force limits are exceeded.  Records 10 seconds before and 10 seconds after this g-force limit is exceeded.  Steady red light indicates an event has been recorded.

Recordable Events  Exceeding pre-set g-force limits triggers an event.  Forward and lateral g-forces are monitored.  Examples of driving behaviors that may result in recorded events include:  Hard braking  Hard cornering  Excessive acceleration

Review With Operator  If necessary, the recorded event is reviewed with the appropriate operator.  This could be those in which the operator displayed effective defensive driving as well as those in which a driving action or habit may need improvement.

Benefits to Driver  Provides instant feedback to the driver.  Presents an opportunity to analyze driving actions or habits.  Captures erratic moves by other drivers  Protects against false statements by others.
