Word processor Definition; a program or machine for storing, manipulating, and formatting text entered from a keyboard and providing a printout. Name of program; Microsoft word

Database Definition; a structured set of data held in a computer, especially one that is accessible in various ways Name of program; Microsoft access

Spread sheet Definition; an electronic document in which data is arranged in the rows and columns of a grid and can be manipulated and used in calculations. Name of program; Microsoft excel

Image editing Definition; Image editing encompasses the processes of altering images, whether they are digital photographs, traditional photochemical photographs, or illustrations. Name of program; adobe Photoshop

Web design Definition; Website design also involves information architecture, website structure, user interface, navigation ergonomics, website layout, colors, contrasts, fonts and imagery (photography) as well as icons design. All these website elements combined together form websites. Name of program; Dreamweaver

Desktop publisher Definition; A word processor is not always the best package to use to produce a document. If more control over the layout of a page is required or the document is to include a lot of graphics, then a desktop publishing package such as Microsoft Publisher would be more suitable. Desktop publishers are often used to produce newspapers, magazines, newsletters and leaflets. Name of program; Microsoft publisher
