 There are two of my own photography pictures here. The picture of the ‘electric’ lights in the background didn’t need editing because how I took the picture is the way I wanted it to look. The picture of the model holding what was once the van der graaf generator, I have replaced with my can to show how the energy drink has the same power.  I cropped the model out from the background of the picture and used the polygonal lasso tool to cut out all the white bits of background. I also edited the effect of the model, bringing more colour out and adding grain to it.

 On these two pictures I just altered the layer styles, to blend in a bit more with the brushes.  I changed the layer style from normal to linear dodge.

 The picture in the background was originally the same colour as the other fairy light pictures. Then I placed it on the blue electric brushes, then merged them together, which gave it the blue effect. + =

 The edit I used was changing the layer style of this picture. It gave a brighter effect than the original picture. I changed it from normal to ‘screen’.

 Another edit of the background ‘electric’ fairy lights. To edit this, I changed the blending style to ‘pin light' to give a brighter and bolder effect.
