Spiritual development is a journey.

Frustration arises if you stall.

A Church should help people take their next step.

To help as many people as possible take their next step toward Jesus Christ.

“Come, follow me,” Jesus said. Matthew 4:19a

We will challenge you to take your next step.

The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; Psalm 37:23

We believe people matter to God, so we want people to Know Jesus.

Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. John 17:3

You must decide to enter the relationship with Jesus.

Our focus is a relationship with Jesus, not programs, preferences, or traditions.

You explore meaning/ You explore Jesus.

You decide.

You obey-Baptism.

You worship = Relationship deepens.

We believe church is a place of grace, so we want to help people Know Community.

Why is it Alice Drive and not on Alice Drive?

We are Baptist in the best sense of the word:

We believe the Bible.

We believe we have direct access to God.

We are self-governed.

We cooperate with other churches.

Approximately 50% of the members of ADBC did not grow up “Baptist.”

What does it mean to be a church?

We are a place of grace.

What’s expected of me?

I will follow Jesus.

I will attend.

I will get in a LIFE Group.

I will give:

Step in - Start

Step up – Tithe = 10%

Step out – over and above 10%

I will be responsible for my spiritual maturity.

I will serve.

We believe everyone needs to be like Jesus, so we want to help people Grow Character.

To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, 1 Peter 2:21

leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps. 1 Peter 2:21

I will pray.

I will fast.

Then, I will be transformed.
