Bring out a strategy for effective implementation of development programs in a convergent & coordinated approach Transfer the knowledge from lab to land and demonstrate the achievements of the entire poverty alleviation programs and get hold of feedback for improvements in training, communication and overall implementation strategy, with the maturing of the intervention in the selected one block in a district.

WHAT HAS BEEN DONE One block identified Meeting held with B.D.P.O. & Grass root level functionaries of Khera Block TNA will be done in October, Training of elected representatives of PRI’s & officials will commence from 3 rd week of November Intimation to the Hon’ble minister, secretary, Rural Development & Panchayats Department Punjab regarding Lab to Land programme and formation of state level committee Orientation of different District/Block level Line department officials. WHAT IS BEING PLANNED IEC Activities Intensive Training to all functionaries & Elected representatives through trained Resource Persons of SIRD & faculty. Management of PRI functions on line Maintenance of PRI accounts with priya soft. Plan PlusData base collection and maintenance of data online.CSC at G.P. levelOrganization of Groups to fight social evils

WHAT IS BEING PLANNED Provide safe drinking water Providing Housing with sanitation and Electricity. Developing and marketing human skills, surplus farm produce distribute earnings. Organizing annual award function Translating the objectives of the all flagship programmes. Awareness generation and orientation of gram sabhas for affirmative Developing planning, organizing, audit and leadership ability among members of Gram Sabha. Developing an action plan on land, water etc.

Immediate Future Actions. A meeting with all would be held to explain them the initiative in the month of November. Information would be given at all important places to make the people know about it. Meeting with all P.S members, G.P members and Block & G.P officials would be held to explain the Lab to Land programme. Workshop would be arranged with youth club members of NYKs, Self Help Groups, officials of Line department etc. Resource Persons would be selected by inviting applications fixing some criteria like educational qualification, experience and training etc. The Resource Persons which are already on Panel have been trained. Representatives from SIRD & State Govt. would meet the Gram Sabha members to get an idea what happens in the field and how much aware and empowered the people are at this movement.

Monitoring of training is being done by SIRD and the department concurrently. Govt. of India may assign the evaluation to any independent agency. Exposure visit are being planned in near future. Status of monitoring and evaluation

Training to Bharat Nirman Volunteers by Trained Resource Persons of State Institute of Rural Development.

Training of Concerned Sarpanches and Panchs with Bharat Nirman Volunteers on all programmes of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj in month of August-September 2011.

Workshop organized for the BDPO, Panchayat Secretary of Khera Block of Distt. Fatehgarh Sahib. A detailed Discussion regarding Lab to Land programme was made.

ToT for Resource Person in 2 nd week of July Training of 1000 Bharat Nirman Volunteers of Khera Block Distt. Fatehgarh Sahib in the month of August- September 2011.

After Completing the training programme of Bharat Nirman Volunteers of Khera Block regarding Lab to Land programme Block Khanna Distt. Ludhiana will be selected for this programme.

For training of 1000 Bharat Nirman Volunteers, Sarpanch, Panch 34 camps at circle level of Khera Block will be organized.

BDPO Khera has been asked to make wide publicity of awareness relating to Lab to Land programme and enrolment of Bharat Nirman Volunteers.

Role of Bharat Nirman Volunteers and format for the household survey has been prepared.
