Open a new publisher file Select brochure from the available templates Choose a template for your brochure on internet safety
Layout of the brochure The front page of the brochure is the section on the right most side of the brochure This page is the first page the audience will see, so it must be eye-catching and appeal to the audience! Inside FlapBack CoverFront Cover
Make the cover eye-catching Remember…you have to make the pictures and text eye-catching and also fit for the leaflets purpose (Internet Safety) Bold, red writing to represent danger and catch the audiences attention! Appropriate image and title to show the audience what the leaflet is about! The front cover should show the audience what the leaflet is about and what will be contained inside!
Back Page The back page should: Provide details on where to find further information on internet safety! Inside Flap This is the first page that the reader will see when they open the front page. This should show the reader what leaflet is about, but not contain too much information!
Inserting and rotating a text box Select the text box icon from the toolbar When you place the text box on the leaflet you will see a green dot appear above the box

Bold Headings with only 1 type of font (Key Word: Consistency) Only few small images that are ‘Fit For Purpose’ Select Page ‘2’ – this is for all of the main information!
